About the COC

The Challenger Owners Club was founded in 2000 and, of the 250 or so cars produced, has an international membership of nearly half that number and we have been privileged to receive an invitation to display our cars on a dedicated club stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show since 2004.

Not only is the Club the obvious place to go to source a Challenger or seek advice on purchase, but it also has a wealth of technical knowledge available to members to help solve problems, source parts and assist with modifications and component upgrades.

Members can obtain vehicle valuations for insurance purposes and the Club has arranged discounts with some insurance companies and suppliers. There is also a strong social side with regional co-ordinators and an annual AGM weekend that has resulted in many strong friendships.

A Challenger will provide the pleasures of E-Type ownership without some of the problems and at a far more realistic cost. If you wish to discuss any aspect of ownership, contact a committee member or regional co-ordinator who will be only too pleased to help.

The Jaguar based Challenger is also an easy car to maintain with the only non-Jaguar components used being the steering rack and clutch master cylinder, both of which were sourced from the MGB. Everything else was provided by either the XJ6 or the Series 1 E-Type, so parts supply is never a problem.

The Challenger Owners Club is dedicated to preserving and promoting our cars.
